Millbrook Apartments

Case Study

Removal of an old roof containing asbestos and installation of a new insulated roof covering. Roccul also used fibreglass to line the water tanks on the roof and installed new pipework to each of the 72 apartments. We also removed asbestos from the ceiling in the common areas. This was all carried out in a live environment with no downtime.

Case Study

Roccul were engaged to carry out a substantial and sensitive project to remove the asbestos from the flooring adhesive on the 12 floors and 2 stairwells of the block. This was a very difficult live environment and the works were carried out without a single complaint from any resident. In fact, the residents were full of compliments. The constant communication with the Board and residents was key to a successful job.

Case Study

Design and Build Cat A fit-out to 1st & 2nd floor at 1862 Barrow to include full strip out and demolition of cellular spaces. New floor and ceiling finishes installed throughout along with a combination of new FD30 & FD60 doors.

New WC’s to inc. both ambulant and accessible were installed along with part new & alterations to existing M&E throughout. A new kitchen canteen with specialist joinery, a new comms room, full decorations, along with external landscaping works were also complete as part of the project.

Part of the works also required repairs to the existing roof, the recovering and waterproofing of the first floor terrace area and the installation of a new passenger lift.
